Landlord Water Notification

In North Riverside, both the property owner and tenant/occupant are jointly and severally liable to pay for all water services provided by the Village. Delinquent water bills are subject to further collection procedures and can lead to the water service being temporarily shut-off with additional service fees incurred. In addition, the Village reserves the right to file a lien against the subject property after 60 days with all legal costs to be paid by the property owner.


Don’t be left wondering about the status of the water account for your rental or commercial property! Owners of rental property within the Village can receive notification of the status of their property’s water bill by providing the Village with current ownership information.
